DESCRIPTION:
This course will prepare online students to employ skills needed for employment as a protection officer. It also discusses appropriate procedures and techniques for many actions required to be taken by certified protection officers. It also addresses public relations and professionalism.
Semester 1 discusses antiterrorism and VIP protection, investigation practices, crime scene procedures, report writing and legal issues pertaining to protection officers.
Semester 2 discusses defensive tactics, and officer safety, public relations, networking, and professionalism.
