DESCRIPTION:

This course will prepare online students to employ skills needed for effective communication both personally and professionally. It will also address concepts of asset protection and the role of a protection officer. The course is presented in two semesters.

Semester 1 focuses on communication skills, including communicating effectively and in difficult situations. It also discusses concepts of asset protection.

Semester 2 focuses on professional skills and basic tasks of a protection officer and principals of patrol, traffic control, and crowd management.
